lovely stay!

large room clean room soft towel

the room was big and super clean. the en-suite was also large, i liked that everything was in working order. sheets and towels were the whitest and softest. i also appreciated the three heaters in the room.

i experienced a slight delay getting hot water to the shower, though it resolved quickly.

The staff were very helpful, addressing my queries with speed and professionalism. i requested extra coffee. The staff promptly delivered it to my room. their attentiveness definitely enhanced my visit.

fluctuating temperature disruptive noise

The room was clean (I appreciate that), and the bed was comfortable enough.

I had issues with the shower temperature. It alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold. I also found the noise from the boiler cycling on and off every few minutes quite disruptive, especially when trying to sleep. I think I'll bring earplugs next time to block the appliance sounds.

Acceptable But Flawed

faulty radiator slow draining

The room was large and quiet.

The radiator in my room did not work, so I used an electric heater. The room was either too hot or too cold. The sink drained very slowly. The shower stopped working after a few minutes. It seemed like a header tank emptied.
