I found the location excellent. It's an easy walk to many attractions. the staff assisted with directions and recommendations. breakfast offered diverse options catering to various tastes. the landmark building displays modern updates enhancing its charm.

The street noise was noticeable. Double glazing does not completely block it out.

missing kettleloud street noise

I found that the absence of a kettle in the room detracted from the experience. I also noticed significant street noise penetrated the double glazing. Engines and bikes disturbed the quiet, despite my room being on the third floor at the rear. These factors somewhat diminished the overall quality of my visit.

the historical hotel was beautiful and i liked the corner unit i was given.

the hotel occasionally followed through on requests for water. they also did not always bring coffee and pillows as requested. the restaurant was ok but it was not always prepared .
