Mixed Feelings about My Recent Stay
ineffective thermostathallway noise
The lack of soundproofing in my 'Comfort Room' was noticeable. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from the hallway and nearby rooms, which disrupted my sleep. the temperature control in the room proved ineffective. The thermostat settings did not seem to correspond to the actual room temperature, resulting in an uncomfortably warm environment.

the upgraded room had modern bathrooms they were very clean the concierge services were helpful the air-conditioning was good the hotel also allowed pets i was happy about this. there was a nespresso machine in the room the views were fine i found these convenient amenities to greatly add to my stay.
the sommelier seemed slow during dinner i expected wine with my main meal at a michelin star restaurant i didn't get any

the staff was supportive. i found the wine selection excellent. the hotel is also very pet friendly with great local dog walk options. i loved that.
the room felt very basic. the corridors seemed outdated. it felt disappointing without the excellent restaurant. i really didn't like the lack of modern touches.
