historical charm by the sea

i adored that our room had a large deck overlooking the water! it was such a treat to sit there each morning with coffee, enjoying the fresh air and peaceful sounds of the sea. the atmosphere throughout was very cute, and the location made exploring the town easy and enjoyable!

i noticed the air conditioning unit sounded like a small waterfall, and it seemed quite dusty.

i booked the pacific view suite. the balcony view was great. i watched the new years eve celebrations. room service was good and the menu was reasonably priced.

the window was tiny. the bathroom was small with the mirror on a weird angle. it made shaving difficult. the door had an old lock and a simple push button lock to the shared balcony.

The noise level was HIGH. My room faced the street and I could hear traffic throughout the night. I also noticed a lot of dust accumulated on the radiators, I suspect it has been there for a while.

the air conditioning made sounds like a waterfall and was quite dirty with bugs. i also noticed several broken items including the toilet brush and faucet tap. the duvet sheet had a rip, not ideal..

The location is central. It is nicely decorated and clean.

The traffic noise was very loud at night. Cars with blaring music and enhanced exhausts kept me awake until late. I also heard the road sweeper at 5am on Sunday. The noise really impacted my stay.
