lovely stay with perfect service

the hotel had a beautiful, classic character and a fantastic location near restaurants and shops. the staff assisted immediately when i had trouble getting my rental car to the hotel. andrea jumped into the car and helped drive to the hotel carpark. the caffe latte at the rooftop bar was delicious.

I booked a "junior suite balcony" and was excited. it had a tiny balcony. it barely fit one chair, so i couldn't sit out there. also, the minibar prices were insane! a small bottle of water cost almost 7 euro. that's highway robbery. I expected better value for my money.

The rooftop breakfast had great variety. I especially liked the fine views of Mount Etna (it was nice). The valet parking was helpful. It made managing our rental car super easy.
