wonderful stay with excellent service

the bed felt very comfortable and clean. the location proved very good as i easily walked to many destinations. the breakfast options were also a highlight, with a wide selection of tasty choices.
the air conditioning in public areas felt a bit too warm.

the hotel sits next to an indian bazaar and the riverside walk, so exploring local culture is very accessible. direct access to a shopping mall adds to the convenience, and chinatown is within easy walking distance too.

The room i stayed in was spacious. It offered a nice city view, especially at night. the bathroom was large, complete with good water pressure in the shower. i was happy to find an umbrella provided in the room, useful during rainy weather.

The hotel is conveniently linked to a shopping center, allowing direct access to retail outlets. I found the staff consistently friendly and helpful, especially when seeking advice on local attractions. My room was near the Iridium Lounge, which permitted access for breakfast and happy hour. I appreciated the ease of walking to the waterfront and India Street.
The pool bar did not open until late in the afternoon.

The gym on level 5 has a good selection of equipment. It included treadmills and stationary bikes. Direct access to the connected shopping mall added convenience. I enjoyed the river view from the club lounge during cocktail hour.

The breakfast had a good spread of options. It included both Western and local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the tasty laksa Sarawak, a regional specialty. I found the egg station excellent, specifically their poached eggs.

The pool bar only opened at 4 pm, a strange choice for a hotel in this location. uncontrolled children in the pool kept other guests from swimming. i saw someone spitting in the pool. Saliva floated around. the breakfast buffet lacked staff. My dirty table remained uncleared despite my requests.

the hotel location allowed simple access to local attractions. i found the staff consistently helpful and available. the breakfast offered plentiful choices plus tasty laksa sarawak. i especially liked the clean and spacious rooms with superb views of the waterfront.
it was sometimes difficult to find a car parking spot.

the location felt right, next to the river. i found a wonderful view from our room. the breakfast was good, and the staff was attentive.
room cleaning wasnt ideal. i had to call many times before the towels and coffee got replaced. the process of getting my tourism tax refunded was long. there was some miscommunication on who does the refund.
