The staff were lovely and cute, it was ACCEPTABLE.

The food was very poor for the cost, with microwaved veg that were very limp. My chicken pie was advertised on the menu with haggis, I found NO hint of haggis. My wife's fish n chips were very dry. They were over cooked.

the staff were very friendly.. reception staff stayed open a little as i was running late for check in. the breakfast was large and was great for both someone who loves haggis and black pudding and also a pescatarian or vegetarian. the room was cute with lovely colours and a bath and good water pressure in the shower.

i had a family meal here. the food was very poor for the cost, microwaved veg that were very limp and tasteless. my chicken pie was advertised on the menu with haggis but sadly there wasn't even a hint of haggis.

The staff was cute and helpful. the room had all the basic amenities i needed. i loved the pub attached to the hotel! public transport to edinburgh was easily accessible. The bus stop was just across the street.

the soundproofing wasn't perfect, and i could hear some noise from the hallway.
