tranquil exmoor escape

helpful staff coffee machine picturesque location gin tonic

i found the staff helpful. the room had a coffee machine and a fridge, stocked with fresh milk. the location near tarr steps is really picturesque. i also appreciated the complimentary gin and tonic (a nice touch!).

the bathroom had some tired aspects, but this was a minor issue, and the room was comfortable overall.

the room was very clean and tidy with added touches. fresh milk was available in the fridge. the bed proved comfortable .

a good stay near the barle river

comfortable atmosphere idyllic setting coffee pod machine

the restaurant offered a cosy, comfortable atmosphere. the setting near the river barle is idyllic. fresh milk was available in a fridge, paired with a coffee pod machine.

Sound proofing was minimal. Sounds from other guests were audible.

the hotel sits right in the heart of exmoor national park. i could easily access many beautiful walks directly from the accommodation. the river barle and tarr steps clapper bridge are very close to the hotel.

The breakfast was adequate and the location offered some appeal.

The room I occupied needed refurbishment. The decor was dated. The bathroom emitted an unpleasant odor. Sound insulation proved inadequate, and noise from adjacent rooms disrupted sleep.

EXCELLENT Food and Location!

coffee machine personal fridge soothing ambience

I REALLY enjoyed the proper coffee machine in the room and the fridge for personal use. EVERYTHING had been thought about. The staff went the extra mile to connect. The ambience indoors was very soothing. Nice decor, layout, and music.
