extra water odd discount
I found some aspects of my stay disappointing. The in-room water cost extra a detail I dislike at a so-called 5 star hotel. I also got offered restaurant menus lacking prices and a guest discount which felt odd. Consequently I chose not to eat at that restaurant. It made me doubt transparency of pricing at this hotel.

amazing stay!
comfortable bed high-quality bedlinen
the staff were very kind and caring to our needs, it really made a difference! the bed was very comfortable with very clean and high-quality bedlinen. it felt so luxurious! i loved the fresh sheets!
the way the private city tour was promoted was a bit misleading. it felt more like a chauffeur service than a guided tour. i expected more historical insights!

the beautiful double room sea view featured elegant ottoman furniture and intricate wood inlays, it seemed like stepping back in time! the room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower that was amazing. the view was lovely!

the breakfast buffet presented multiple options and the chef prepared eggs to order, yum! the restaurant offers a panoramic view over the city, such a great way to start the day. it was a real treat!

the hotel stands within a five-minute walk to the square that has the hagia sophia and basilica cistern. i walked to the grand bazaar quite easily! the location allowed simple access to key historical sites.

attentive team good mattresses
the bell team was super helpful and attentive. i appreciated the good mattresses and pillow menu. the top floor restaurant was great too.
i found the lack of transparency in pricing annoying. i was surprised by an extra 20% charge when settling the payment.
