i found the staff very friendly and efficient, which i appreciated so much. the rooftop area was one of the nicest i have ever visited, and the sheets and mattress were comfortable!!! it was amazing.

the hotel is selling itself as having two swimming pools, one inside and one outside. i was shocked to find that the hotel charges its guests for using them. i have never had to pay for a hotel's own pool before, a little disappointing.

The breakfast was indeed a highlight. I found many gluten-free and dairy-free options available. The coffee was strong, exactly as I prefer it. The fitness center impressed me, rivaling many professional gyms I have used.

My room lacked a telephone. I needed to go to the reception for requests such as an iron or spa bookings. The cleaning service also missed the mark. My pajamas were thrown on a chair. I expect a higher level of service from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

the art deco restoration was amazing. the style of the hotel was superbly designed. i found the breakfasts fantastically delicious. everything my heart could desire was there.

i stayed in a very small room on the 6th floor. it reminded me of a student hostel with a tiny window. the heating was insufficient, staying at 16°c even after i asked for it to be increased daily.
