the hotel staff are just the best! beatrice at the restaurant was super helpful and friendly, a real gem. the hotel breakfast had tons of choices, local and traditional stuff! the cleanliness was great, especially important during a longer stay like mine. the location feels super safe too, always a big plus in a new city!
i did notice that some of the rooms seem a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms could use some love!

The live music in the Exchange Bar created a good atmosphere. The hotel offered a variety of food options in each bar and restaurant. The pool area looked quite inviting. The spa and gym were also appealing. The communal areas featured beautiful flower arrangements.
The hotel could benefit from some updates to its technology. Ordering room service required going to the restaurants to review the menu, then ordering there. This process seemed a bit inconvenient.

I appreciated the extensive breakfast spread. They even provided Indian breakfast upon my request. The Indian breakfast needs some improvement. the Continental breakfast was excellent. Flavor was present in every dish.

All the staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The service was indeed excellent. Concierge Steve, Pool Deck Bar Eunice, Thorn Tree John, William, Annette, Catherine, Stella, Caroline, and Joseph were standouts. The service I experienced was warm and personal.

the staff book a nice guided tour. it was to the elephant orphanage, nairobi national park for a game drive, and giraffe center. the guide and tour was really excellent. lots of good foods was available for breakfast and a lovely breakfast area exists.
the hotel feels dark, tired and outdated for me. rooms plumbing, a/c and electrical provisions feels old. wifi was dodgy, keeps dropping out all the time.
