i received a kind welcome upon arrival, setting a tender tone for my short stay. the automated curtains and lights in the room felt luxurious, showcasing attention to detail. the provided fruit dish with a swahili greeting was adorable!!!

i noticed the absence of soap next to the sink. I found i had to reach into the shower to get some shower gel.

the prices for food and drinks seemed far above what i had expected. coffee at the breakfast buffet was either cold or transparent. prices for drinks changed after serving (the waiter blamed increased taxes in kenya).

I received wonderful service. Caroline was attentive and efficient. Her salmon suggestion was great (it was cooked to perfection). She checked on us without being intrusive, our drinks were full and everything was satisfactory. Her demeanor and genuine smile added to the experience making it very cute.

I had minor issues with the airport transfers. The scheduled pick-up did not happen, so I needed to arrange transport to the premises.
