Feedback about Port Charlotte Hotel from previous guests about their experience.
The rooms offered very comfortable beds. I also had a sea view. i found the bar a lovely place for a drink. they had a really good selection of craft beers and ciders i appreciated that. the food served for dinner and breakfast was great quality too.
the tv reception was not great, sometimes the signal struggled a bit. it was only a minor inconvenience though.

the staff were friendly and cute. their attention to detail created a homely atmosphere. the restaurant served delicious local dishes celebrating the flavours of islay beautifully.
the blinds were poorly fitted so the light woke us early. the carpet had stains on it. the fruit served at breakfast was woeful with tinned peaches and pineapple.

acceptable locationslow serviceguest noise
The location was acceptable as a base for exploring Islay. I used it mostly for that.
I found the service slow, particularly at breakfast. The toast arrived long after I finished the rest of my meal. The noise from other guests was also a problem. I heard doors slamming late at night.
