I found the room wasn't as clean as i expected. Stains marked the sheets and decorative pillows, and the black doors showed dirty handprints. the pull-out mattress was thin, so my son had to sleep on the hard window seats. also, controlling the shower temperature proved difficult.

i appreciated the river view from the eighth floor VERY much. The room included two cozy nooks AND a nespresso machine. Yoga mats were available, i found two plush robes, and a large tv. i definitely want to mention, the doormen assisted with all our bags on arrival and departure.
the water pressure and temperature were mostly fine. however, getting it just right took a little fiddling around, a very minor inconvenience.

Really good Suite Upgrade and Convenient Location

I was upgraded to a suite on the 12th floor by Jovan Love. The suite was spacious, with a separate sitting room with tasteful décor. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean (a real plus for me). The hotel is very close to the Riverwalk. I also found many restaurants and points of interest nearby.
The room smelled a little musty upon arrival. I also found the street noise quite loud at night. i loved the yoga mat

i didn't tell the hostess about our expedia vip status. we got treated like vip. i think we had the best room. i booked a one bedroom suite with a river view. all the staff were nice, and i checked in early. the restaurant was amazing too.
the floor in my room squeaked every time i stepped. i asked for sheets, a blanket and pillows for the sofa bed at 9 pm because they weren't in the room. it took over an hour to get them after i called again at 10 pm.
