pleasant visit

grand building quiet location helpful staff

i found the building grand. i enjoyed the quiet location near the motorway and walking around the grounds. reception staff assisted with room service from la distillerie restaurant. the room had a courtyard view and was quiet.

the hotel charged €20 for the dog and did not provide a bowl or bed.

nice garden warm welcome

The chateau is a lovely hotel with nice gardens at the back. I found the breakfast was one of the best i can remember. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and i felt comfortable in my room.

the hotel combines historical charm with convenient access near calais. rooms feature clean decor. bathrooms included both a shower and a bath. i found the off-road parking very convenient. the gardens provided a good space for a walk .

i noticed a slight issue , specifically that the staff initially seemed a little abrupt when i reported a minor problem with my room.

The hotel accommodated my two large dogs very well. they were allowed in most areas, a great benefit. the outside space was extensive. My dogs enjoyed running around. i found the attitude toward dogs cute and inclusive.

The breakfast featured fresh produce, and the staff readily prepared cooked-to-order items like scrambled eggs. The grounds were lovely, suitable for walking around, also the building is excellent. I found the room spacious and quiet, with a courtyard view which was very welcome. Parking was convenient.

The formal gardens maintenance needs improvement.
