Wonderful stay with minor hiccups

easy beachbuffet breakfastcold room

I especially enjoyed the easy beach access, with comfortable sun beds and clear water. the buffet breakfast offered a huge choice, and the staff was always attentive. I also found the modern room furniture great, it included a good size veranda.

the air conditioning in the room did not work very well. the room stayed cold throughout my stay, and the heaters didn't seem to work. the yoga class being cancelled without notification also created some inconvenience. i had adjusted my plans for that day.

The hotel boasts a beachfront location with clear water. corfu town is accessible. It takes 15 minutes by car. the hotel's setting among large olive trees is appealing. Though the parking was expensive!

the staff provided excellent service. marusa and maria at the information desk went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. everyone was very friendly and couldn't do enough to. i am already planning my next family holiday and i will stay here.

Our bungalow garden room with pool was rather tired. It was certainly not as clean as i would expect for a hotel with a five star rating. the app it produced was not updated with information . the taxi fare to corfu town is around 25 euro's each way and this is expensive.

The breakfast had a great selection of items (especially the fresh fruit).

I found the lack of information about the entertainment frustrating. The hotel app was not updated , so I missed several shows. the shuttle service to Corfu Town ran only once in the morning and returned too early. I expected more flexibility from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

The room felt old. the bathroom needed some cleaning. I saw some stains. the location wasn't great either. the hotel was too quiet, mostly older people were there. it wasn't very pleasant. for what i paid, i expected more. it really wasn't worth the money, and i'm disappointed.
