weak wifituk-tuk service
The wifi signal was weak. It barely worked in my room. i had hoped to get some work done , but that was nearly impossible. also, the tuk-tuk service to the main road seemed disorganized. sometimes it was quick. Other times i waited almost half an hour.

I found the staff quite sweet and helpful . They even assisted with arranging activities. the hotel's location offers amazing views of the desert. The majestic nile. And the city. the colorful rooms provided a heartwarming atmosphere. i felt quite at home there!
the tuk-tuk rides felt unsafe. the metal cart seemed precarious. and the lack of seatbelts was concerning. i think there could be improvements made to secure luggage during transport.

The room featured handmade details that adopted both ancient egypt and nubian history. the decor was bright and full of character. it had a comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean linens. And a cute design.

mixed feelings about my stay
tuk-tuk dependencystaff disorganization
the tuk-tuk situation was not great. relying on it to get anywhere felt limiting. also, the room cleanliness was not up to par (i found a hair in the shower). the staff seemed a bit disorganized, especially when i tried to arrange a simple airport transfer. they seemed confused and unsure of the procedures.

Nubian Style with Some Issues

The building had a striking Nubian style with beautiful views of the Nile. The room included a balcony.
Flies were all over the place so I couldnt enjoy sitting on the balcony. Stray dogs barked and howled throughout the night, , made a good night's sleep impossible. Also the tuk-tuk ride was unsafe and uncomfortable. It was a metal cart attached to a motorbike, with tiny seats and no seatbelts, therefore, a scary experience.
