Really good Stay with Fine Views

helpful staff well-decorated room lovely view
I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. My 'Beautiful Suite' was well-decorated and equipped. I also appreciated the lovely views from the room. It. The breakfast was great (especially the coffee!).
I noticed that the restaurant menu seemed heavily focused on dishes with chili or curry flavors, which limited options.
Facilities

The hotel offered convenient features such as a restaurant on-site with scenic views. It provided ease for meals. The hotel is well kept and built to a high standard, which gives a very good impression.

Acceptable stay with some issues

essential provision parking space friendly staff slow service dark batter unpractical bathroom
The room provided all the essentials. The staff were friendly! I appreciated the secured parking space. It was nice.
The service was slow. I waited 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and the batter was dark brown. No one asked how our meal was. The plates remained dirty for 20 minutes. The bathroom was unpractical, and there was no shelf.

mixed feelings about my stay

slimy bok choy undercooked broccoli
the staff was attentive and polite. this was appreciated
i found the food to be disappointing. as a vegetarian, the miso and chilli glazed aubergine was subpar. the bok choy was slimy and undercooked, and the tender stem broccoli was stringy and burnt. there was no sauce and the potatoes i ordered needed butter, it took two tries to get it

decent stay

fine views well-priced food friendly staff high prices restaurant cleanliness many dogs
the location provided excellent views from nearly every angle. the food was well-priced and tasted delicious (i especially liked the seafood options). the staff were friendly and also knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations.
the coffee prices seemed high. a small cup of latte cost £4.20, quite expensive (i noticed this on a coast walk). also, i found the restaurant cleanliness was not ideal. i saw too many dogs, unhygienic.
