I found breakfast featured many options and fresh fruits. The chef prepares creative dinners with vegan, meat, or fish choices. I appreciated my spacious room and secluded patio.

A few flies and bugs were in my room and cleaning only happened once per day.

The hotel is beautifully located at the bottom of a mountain. The location provides very nice views and a serene environment. Hout Bay and Constantia are a short drive away, very convenient.

The breakfast buffet provides many choices. The chef offers vegan, meat, or fish dishes each day. Many ingredients are cultivated on the grounds. The dishes tastes fresh and healthy.

My room featured a secluded patio which I used. The room felt very homely and private. The outdoor shower was a plus for the experience. The tea in the room uses herbs from the garden.

The hotel had attention to detail. the facilities included a well equipped gym. the chef prepared excellent meals. Breakfast included variety. the staff was very cute. and helpful. the therapists were very qualified. they provided top quality yoga. and massage sessions.

i noticed a slight smell of damp in the wine cellar.

the mountain view villa was exquisite , a perfectly formed home. there were so many spots to feel cozy and be at peace. the gym is well equipped , and the massages i had were really good.

absent turndown service

i noticed a lack of organization among the evening staff, they seemed uncertain and did not attend to guests effectively. turn down service was also absent, a feature i expect. the butlers and waiters did not offer the level of engagement i anticipated.
