The hotel offers a beautiful rural retreat surrounded by farmland and olive trees. the large room had a fabulous shower. the interiors were designed in keeping with the period of the hotel, it had no televisions. the extensive wine list complemented the lovely food. A buffet breakfast was included.
the air conditioning was not working. a ceiling ventilator was broken and a socket was also broken. workers started working at 08:00 with a noisy car running under the room window. i found the quality of the set menu was not as expected.

the breakfast service was quite slow one morning. i waited an unreasonable amount of time for a simple omelet (about 30 minutes). this delay impacted my schedule for the day. furthermore, the gym was smaller than anticipated. its limited equipment restricts workout options for more serious fitness enthusiasts.

the rural setting provided a relaxing experience. the architecture and design kept to the period of the hotel. i had a large room. the shower was fabulous.
there was no fridge in my room for cool water. i had a kettle with sachets of instant coffee. the bed was only queen size. it was disappointing.
