historic charm with a view

i loved that the hotel provided a complimentary book detailing its rich history. the view of the city from my room framed by the sierra nevada mountains was amazing. the bathroom featured a window that opened , allowing me to hear the sounds of the city.
my sleep was disturbed each morning around 7:30 am by furniture being moved on the floor above my suite. it was quite noisy , especially for a hotel of this caliber.

the terrace outside the hotel provided excellent views over the entire city below. rooms included wonderful bathrooms , fitted with japanese toilets , a feature loved by all guests. proximity to the alhambra palace was a definite plus.

i enjoyed the bar with its terrace , with very nice views . one evening , i tried the croquettes , and another night , i ordered the club sandwich , both were beautifully prepared and quite delicious. gluten-free options were available at breakfast.

the location was superb (it's really close to the main attraction!). i especially loved the book about the hotel's history offered as a gift. the staff was helpful with clear explanations about the hotel and the area. the room featured a beautiful view of the city and sierra nevada mountain range.
i noticed a lack of certain amenities i typically expect. there isn't a gym, spa, or pool available on the premises. these additions would enhance the overall experience (i would certainly have used them).
