a serene stay

river location friendly staff

i enjoyed the unique location near the river. the staff were friendly and helpful . i found the kayaking and bike rides offered a nice way to explore the area. the naturalist had great knowledge about local birds.

i noticed limited sound insulation in the rooms. wildlife sounds were audible and conversation from other rooms was also quite loud.

the hotel prepared freshly caught local fish on the bbq one night. breakfast included good sri lankan selections. dinner and lunch options had limited selections and western dishes were available.

attentive staff peaceful pool kind staff odd lighting chicory coffee empty minibar

I adored how tranquil the place was. the staff were so attentive and kind. I felt cared for. i swam in the pool early on my last day, and it gave me such peace.

The lighting in the bathroom felt a bit odd. There was a blue led above the shower. the coffee in the room tasted of chicory, not real coffee. i noticed the mini fridge was empty, with no minibar at all.

Very nice Stay at This Eco-Luxury Hotel!!!

generous drinks informative guide fresh food

The staff were very kind and provided generous complimentary drinks upon arrival! Afternoon tea was a good touch! The safari morning was great, and the guide was very informative about the nature in the area. The food was AMAZING!!! Every meal tasted fresh, flavorful, and looked beautiful.

The hotel is quite small. This may be a concern to some.
