mixed feelings about this stay.

I was expecting a bit more for the price, honestly. the promised city view from my "two queens capital city view" room wasn't exactly what i had in mind. It mostly faced another building. also, the breakfast setup was odd. i received a voucher, but it barely covered anything at the bistro. It felt a little misleading. i thought that i could accumulate all the vouchers for one day but I couldn't. the distance to the metro station during the night was not very safe.

the hotel was modern. it was also clean and well presented. the staff members were polite and friendly. i liked the overall style.

i found the room to be lacking in closet space. there were only two drawers, which wasn't enough. the view from my room was just of the building next door. there was also a homeless person visible on a park bench.

i found the staff quite cute, a cheerful experience. the room, a two queens capital city view, provided ample space, and i loved the floor-to-ceiling windows. a nice touch was the coffee and espresso maker inside the room.

the soundproofing was not ideal. i could hear hallway noises quite clearly. this issue started around 6 am with loud guest conversations.

the gym has three treadmills and two stationary bikes. the pool area includes twenty loungers. a shaded section provides relief from the sun.

The bistro features a french-inspired menu, and i saw breakfast was served à la carte, it looked lovely. i noticed they offer fifteen dollar vouchers for dining there as well. What a treat. the coffee machine dispenses complimentary capsules, what a plus.

I appreciated the proximity to Union Station for easy access to transportation. The location allowed a quick walk to the Postal Museum. I also enjoyed a wonderful view of the U.S. Capitol from my room..

The check-in process was difficult due to keycard machine issues. Staff escorted me to the room, but every re-entry required staff assistance. I experienced confusion regarding breakfast inclusions and charges.. This led to billing discrepancies at checkout. The manager never called me back after promising to investigate.
