The hotel was grand and nicely designed. It was easy to get a tuk-tuk to town. I recommend keeping your driver's number for cheaper trips to attractions. The staff were friendly from the doorman to the restaurant staff. I booked a river view room and it was AMAZING!!!
The hotel felt a little outdated. It is a very large hotel. It therefore lacked some atmosphere.

The staff was kind and very professional throughout the entire hotel. Restaurant staff took really good care of us during meals. The chefs even made an effort to accommodate our dietary requirements and were very flexible.

There is an amazing indoor kids' play center, a bonus for families. The hotel has two distinct restaurants with different cuisines. I found a shop in the hotel where I could buy beer and groceries at market price.

The hotel is just outside the town center and easily accessible. It is a walking distance from the clock tower neighborhood and night market. It is located conveniently by the river, too.

Really good stay

The bed was large. It was comfortable and guaranteed a good night's sleep. The rooms were spacious. Bathroom facilities are good. The hotel provided a shuttle. It saved quite a bit of steps getting to town and back.
The pool water was cold. It made it unpleasant. We couldn't get in. It was a real bummer for us since the waterslide was the main reason for coming.

cold waterstale bread
i found some aspects disappointing . the pool water was surprisingly cold and this made using the waterslides unpleasant. the breakfast buffet lacked variety and the western options were limited. the bread seemed stale. these issues detracted from the overall experience i had.

The pools looked great in the pictures, but the water was too cold i couldn't enjoy them. it was strange because the weather was warm yet the pool was freezing. It prevented us from swimming. also, the gym equipment seemed a little old some machines need an update. it made workouts less enjoyable than i expected.

the resort provided many activities. the pool area was very clean. i found great cocktails and food by the pool, a definite plus. the hotel arranged a taxi for us to see local temples.
i found some language barrier issues with the staff. understanding some requests proved challenging. more english proficiency would enhance guest experience.

the staff were friendly and helpful, from the doorman to the restaurant personnel. the rooms were clean and pleasant with standard modern amenities.
the pool water was cold. the pools and waterslide looked fun online, but the cold water made it unpleasant (such a disappointment). i could not enjoy the water slides.
