The location was pretty good for getting around (i did appreciate that).

the hotel lobby is beautiful. i found the rooms of a decent size and very clean. the rooftop pool was a quiet retreat offering a bar. i had lunch there and the food tasted good.

The location was indeed perfect for seeing many sights! The staff provided great service. Michael was especially helpful. The newly renovated rooms featured a beautiful design. It was a very nice experience!
The restaurant was inflexible and did not permit takeout. This was inconvenient. I wish this policy could be revised!

historic charm and royal street location
convenient location nice atmosphere attentive staff
i found the hotel's location on royal street very convenient. it provided easy access to many attractions. the carousel bar provided a unique experience and a nice atmosphere. i appreciated the great staff throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist.
the elevator wait times were occasionally longer than expected.

The hotel features a historic carousel bar, an outdoor pool open to guests, and a fitness center with cardio equipment. the fitness center included three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and free weights. I used it daily. complimentary water stations were on each floor, a welcome detail.

Service was always prompt. room service is available 24 hours, offering a limited menu throughout the night. i ordered a late snack one night. It arrived quickly.

attentive staff historic charm lively bar
I found the staff attentive. the Carousel Bar definitely lived up to its reputation. the hotel exudes a luxurious, historic charm. It was VERY excellent.
I encountered a minor issue with the in-room Wi-Fi. It was sometimes unstable.
