Acceptable Stay. Room for Improvement

breakfast selection distant location

The breakfast service disappointed me. Food options were scarce. Many items needed refilling for more than half an hour. The bar staff seemed more interested in watching football than serving customers. I waited quite a while for service, and I had to ask the front desk for assistance. The hotel is also quite far from good restaurants and about a 20-30 minute tram ride from main attractions!

Excellent Spot Near D-Day Beaches!

I found free parking very useful. The hotel gave us interlinking rooms, that was thoughtful. Lunch several times was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too!

There was no restaurant for the evening I was there. I only got a notification about this the day before I arrived. This was inconvenient because I had to find alternative dining arrangements at short notice.

The staff were friendly and reacted directly to special requests regarding the room. Reception was helpful and gave very good service at all times. I love the great service here!

insufficient lighting inconvenient service

the breakfast was acceptable.

I found the room dark. The lighting was insufficient. There was neither a safe nor a refrigerator in the room, surprising for this category. i had to get a carafe from reception and fill it at a fountain, then carry it to my room. It felt inconvenient.

slow bar service unreplenished items

the room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough for a few nights.

The breakfast was definitely a letdown. Many items were not replenished. the bar service was slow and inattentive. Staff seemed more interested in watching a football game than serving customers. i had to seek assistance from the front desk to get any service.
