mixed feelings about the stay

service attentiveness bland food

the level of service was a little off, especially considering the price. i had to ask multiple times for things, and sometimes it reminded me of the staff werent really paying attention. plus, the food wasnt consistent. some meals were good, but others were just bland and overpriced. a cooking class was just a fast demonstration i didnt found interactive.

the pool was nice (though i've seen better). the grounds were expansive and offered some walking trails.

i pre-ordered from a menu, but they served a buffet i didn't want. then, they tried to charge me extra for it, which i found quite irritating.

infinity pool cocktail hour helpful staff friendly dogs

The hotel offered a beautiful infinity pool overlooking mountains I particularly enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour which encouraged guests to socialize and share stories. The staff was attentive and helpful. They arranged a tuk-tuk to a local barber. I also appreciated the presence of friendly resident dogs, Tom and Jelly.

The villa I stayed in felt a bit dark, and there weren't great views of the surrounding countryside from it

My suite had comfortable beds and a rainfall shower. The provided mosquito nets ensured nights were undisturbed by insects. I had all necessary facilities, including a fridge and a fan for climate control.

magical getaway

amazing views calm atmosphere

i was there during summer 2024. i explored the gardens, admiring the landscape. the pool offers amazing views and a calm atmosphere. every evening, the team surprises guests with bonfire nights. i feel that they really care about creating this tranquil location.

the hotel has its own vegetable garden, which i saw. pre-ordering the main course happens earlier in the day, with a choice of 6-8 dishes. a set daily appetizer, soup, and dessert are included with the meal.

the hotel is set high in the hills and offers splendid views. a private waterfall is accessible by hike. it is located away from popular towns and nestled in the lush green forest, QUIET.
