Lions Place, Grietjie Game Reserve

Lions Place Lodge offers two tastefully decorated room types: the Lions Room and the Elephants Family Suite. The Lions Room includes a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with both shower and bath. The Elephants Family Suite consists of two separate bedrooms, accommodating a total of four people with a shared bathroom.

Situated in Kruger National Park, Lions Place Lodge provides private access to the diverse ecosystems of South Africa. The lodge is located within a Big 5 reserve, allowing guests to witness lions, elephants, and more in their natural habitat. It is the only lodge in the park to offer numerous options for exploring South African nature.

The lodge organizes small group safaris in 4X4 vehicles, with professional guides who provide insights into the African bush. Guests can participate in multiple safari packages, including the 3-day Kruger National Park Discovery and the 7-day Safari South Africa - Greater Kruger. Safaris encompass both day and night excursions, ensuring an expansive overview of wildlife.

Meals are included with most lodging packages, allowing guests to enjoy dinner under the stars upon returning from safaris. Brunch is served at the lodge after morning game drives, and guests can relax by the pool overlooking a waterhole. The lodge's location allows for authentic South African culinary experiences.

One of the standout features of Lions Place Lodge is the opportunity for overnight stays in a tent at a bush camp where visitors can experience the bush intimately. The lodge offers tailored safari experiences in exclusive reserves known for their rhinos, lions, and cheetahs. Guests may also enjoy river safaris to explore wildlife on the Olifant River.
