some issues impacted the experience

poor lightingpeeling wallpaper

The light combination in the room was not ideal. i had to illuminate the entire room, including the sleeping area, just to use the toilet at night since there were only two light switches. one controlled the bed area and the other controlled both the bathroom and the rest of the room. also, some wallpaper was peeling off the wall, merely a visual flaw. the aesthetic was nice, but i wish there was more functionality..

my stay lasted six nights and i found the staff friendly and helpful i got a free upgrade the room was quite spacious the shower had great water pressure the record player in the room was a nice and unexpected touch

i found the breakfast options somewhat minimal there wasn't a lot of variety the restaurant was closed unexpectedly one evening after a long drive i found this to be quite frustrating i wish there had been some prior notice

the hotel gym was well equipped for a decent workout there were treadmills and weight machines available it provided a convenient way to maintain my exercise routine i also noticed a sauna but did not use it

the location was excellent with easy access to several attractions the subway was close i could easily visit various points of interest i could walk to a shopping street and a flea market on saturday

heating problemunconcerned staff

I found a few things lacking . the room heating didn't work properly. I was told to wait for it to adjust, it never got comfortable, and the staff didn't seem to care. also, the music from the lobby was loud until late on saturday, which wasn't ideal. it seems i wouldn't recommend this place in cooler months.

I found the location very convenient, close to shopping areas. The room had a multifunctional stereo system with options for vinyl, cd, bluetooth, and usb. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere due to good soundproofing.

The electric lighting system was unusual as one switch turned off every light in the room.

mixed feelings about my stay

the location was convenient , close to shops and restaurants.

the heating system didn't work properly , a real problem . i had to ask for a portable heater , something i didn't expect from a hotel. the staff didn't show much concern about my discomfort , and there was a loud music on saturday night.

i love the big beds, they were really comfy! the rooftop bar is amazing and i think their cocktails were amazing. the location let me get to the subway real quick.

the lights turn on everywhere when i tried to shower without waking someone up.

The hotel features speakers in the room. I thought that was a great idea. the rooftop bar offered great cocktails and amazing city views. i particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and design.

The air conditioning released an odour into the room. This was a bit bothersome. i also found the shower to be a bit faulty as it soaked the bathroom floor.
