the hotel's location near the park proved acceptable for a morning stroll.

the room, a "superior double room", disappointed me. the air conditioning sputtered more than cooled, and the minibar was completely empty, a stark contrast to the advertised amenities. the promised bottled water never looked, leaving me parched and questioning the hotel's definition of "superior.

the room had a coffee machine which was useful it also had many tv channels to select i used these facilities regularly. the location is near the city center renting bicycles from the hotel made access easy

the echoing within the building caused by normal conversation was loud i found this impacted my stay. the shower was not properly fixed the sink was never fixed at all

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to both the train station and the town center. Jeroen, who managed the breakfast service, was very friendly and helpful. Yara at reception gave me a warm welcome. She really enhanced my stay as a solo traveler. The excellent staff and great facilities.

The walls seemed to echo sounds from the hallway, which did carry noise into the room at times.

the building has many details still visible from the prison days, and i loved that comfort was not spared. our room included a coffee machine so you can enjoy coffee in private. the free parking over the weekend on the hotel backside made things simpler.

i found that the walls are thin because sounds echo easily. normal conversations from other guests resonate inside the room. this made it a bit hard to relax during the night.
