the room was large and very clean. i liked that it was dog friendly. they had a dog duvet and dog bowls in the room. breakfast was complete. it was much better than i expected!!!

the communal spaces lacked atmosphere. it needs some more life.

the hotel is near a golf course. it has ample parking around the hotel. it only takes a short car ride to go to salamanca town. i had easy access to the motorway.

the double room was massive, nice and neat. i liked that it had good central heating. the beds were comfortable, with thick towels. it had a large desk, ideal for working.

the location was convenient for my travel plans so that was acceptable.

the room showed signs of wear the wallpaper was peeling in several places i also found the bathroom exhaust fan to be inoperable ventilation was inadequate following showers the breakfast offerings lacked variety and the quality was subpar it left much to be desired.

i thought the breakfast was decent, but the restaurant staff member in charge was really unpleasant one evening. they were also present the next morning. it felt odd. the water served for tea was only lukewarm, and the 'continental breakfast' was the worst i have ever had. the staff member did not even let us choose our tea, we wanted black tea, but instead we got some flavored tea bag with lukewarm water. sweet bread and cold toasts completed the unpleasant experience.

the junior suite had wide spaces and was very large. the breakfast was complete much better than expected. the open lounge area in the foyer was well decorated giving a spacious feeling.
