the air conditioning was very effective! i needed it badly. the hotel's location was also superb, a real plus for exploring. breakfast was a treat with good choices available.
the reception staff was not very cute, that was a letdown. i found they just did not seem interested. some noise was present, mostly related to street activity.

the location was okay. at least the hotel had a bar. i guess that's something.
okay, so the reception staff weren't exactly winning any awards for friendliness. they weren't rude, i suppose, but they also didn't seem, like, thrilled to be there. honestly, i've felt more welcome at a dentist's office. maybe they need a course in basic human interaction or SOMETHING.

charming getaway

I appreciated the central location. It was very handy to access everything. the staff were WARM and cute, offering knowledgeable recommendations for dinner. they even provided umbrellas when it rained. i was fortunate to be upgraded to a suite. It was a really lovely surprise.
the breakfast was good, with a nice array and quality. however, the air conditioning wasn't on yet, as it was chilly at night. the only way to cool the room was to leave a window open, but the street noise made sleep impossible. i would not stay here again due to the continual street noise.

The staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice. The location provided easy access to different places. The rooms were clean.
The hotel faces a busy street. Noise was annoying. Windows were not double glazed. Water was only provided on day 1.
