a fairly modern experience

i REALLY liked the hotel's proximity to the Hynes Convention Center. This made attending my conference easy. The staff was quite friendly. i appreciated the helpfulness and courtesy they showed .

i found the check-in process somewhat impersonal. It required me to use a kiosk. This felt a little like a fast food restaurant experience.. The room i stayed in seemed quite small for two people. There was not much space to move around with luggage.

I found the self-check-in kiosks efficient. It saved me time. The staff greeted me warmly and offered assistance, THAT was great. The room had convenient controls accessible via the in-room tablet. The large bed was comfortable.

The room size was compact. It felt a bit tight for extended stays.

Tech-Forward and Well-Located

prime location lounge area

The location is really good. It had many dining options just outside the hotel. The room size suited me, a solo traveller but might feel tight for more. However the common spaces gave ample room.

The rooms are made for 1 young person. If you are an older couple, I would avoid it. The bed is comfortable but against the wall, so one of you will have to climb over another to get out of the bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The bathroom is probably 35 sq foot with a combo shower and toilet, so only one can use both at any given time. Very small sink outside of the shower area, and only one chair to sit down--no workable space to work from in the room. Cute concept, especially with everything digitalized with an iPad to control temp, room lighting, moods, etc. but I will not be returning. They should have made the rooms just a tiny bit bigger to accommodate more than one person per room. Yes, I'm a traveler that visits Europe often and understand the small room concept, but this was too small even for me.
