mixed feelings, some issues

The location was nice. food seemed okay. There was a lot of choice.

The room was not very clean. They never properly cleaned the bathroom. the glasses were not washed, and the dishes were left out. it was not what i expected from a place i paid so much for.

uncomfortable trip limited minibar

I found some aspects disappointing unfortunately. The transfer from the airport used speedboats. The ride took 1.5 hours. The speed made it very uncomfortable. The "all-inclusive" package felt misleading because it was actually just full board. The minibar included soft drinks, water, and two beers daily, but anything else cost extra. This felt limited.

acceptable stay

i found the food selection quite diverse. there were always different cuisines available, which i appreciated. the availability of an ice-cream bar at every meal was a great touch, especially in the hot weather. the staff were generally polite and helpful, especially husam, my waiter.

the transfer from the airport was by speedboat. it took 1.5 hours at high speed. this was a very uncomfortable ride. the 'all-inclusive' package is not exactly all-inclusive. it felt more like full board since many items incurred extra charges.

a special getaway

amazing sunset attentive waiter

i stayed in a beach bungalow. the rooms interconnect and that was perfect. we all enjoyed beach loungers outside the room and an amazing sunset from the balcony upstairs. the restaurant buffet offered a great range of food from curries to fresh seafood. husam our waiter anticipated when our drinks needed topping up. he was so attentive to anything we needed.
