Mixed Feelings About This Stay

I found a few things disappointing . The front desk seemed understaffed, and there were often long lines for check-in and check-out. Our room needed some updates. The carpet had stains, and the shower door seal was peeling. I had to ask about the coffee spill in the hallway outside our door. It remained unattended for 24 hours.

The rooms were so clean and inviting. i noticed the staff were especially helpful. They arranged transport to jfk. the location was also convenient. Close to many attractions. i also appreciated the early check-in i was granted. At least three hours before the usual time.

there was no heat in the room, it was brought to the attention of three employees. the only solution offered was an extra blanket. no attempt was made to rectify the situation, they offered points only upon departure.

Breakfast offered a decent variety of choices. I observed many business people present. the hotel also had a partnership with a nearby cafe, guests get a discount. there was also an excellent bakery next door, ole & steen.

The front desk staff could have been more pleasant! the staff was responsive, they were especially helpful. the staff was also professional, angel was helpful. victoria at reception was really good. With her, i will surely return.

the hotel offered a $30 daily credit. i used this credit for food and beverages. the location was amazing. it was perfect for connecting with my wedding party.

the hotel charges a $45 per day amenity fee. i was not informed the $30 per day credit did not apply to breakfast at the restaurant.

the room was super clean. the shampoo left my hair feeling very soft. i also appreciated the prompt delivery of an extra robe after i requested it via text.

the tv required a hard reset before it would work. there were very few bathroom amenities available, such as a makeup towel or shower cap.
