a balanced stay
clean roomfriendly stafffaulty air conditioninglong walk
i loved the super clean clean room. the staff were also very natural, friendly, and helpful. the customer service was excellent! the fitness center was super clean and complete.
the air conditioning in our room was not working properly and there was no hot water. i also found it a bit of a walk from the room to the main areas. it was quite a distance!

The food was very fantastic. I loved the variety of fresh food for breakfast. Lunch also offered amazing options. Dinner included a lot of variety too. We loved the cave restaurant a lot. eating there two nights of our stay.
The balconies LACK privacy. Ropes separate one side. A wall separates the other. So, there is not much privacy in the jacuzzi.

The hotel is a long drive from the airport. The drive IS worth it. The hotel has turtles near Salaam Cave. The cave is a five-minute walk from the resort.

Two pools are available . Rooms are really fine. Rooms include wooden furnishings. Rooms are well decorated and maintained. Wifi IS available and worked FINE.

The food IS delicious. You also can reserve another two restaurants. One restaurant offers African food. A Japanese restaurant IS available as well. Smoothies are AWESOME.

beautiful sandhelpful staff
The water aerobics were great. The staff were helpful. The sand was beautiful. The infinity pool by the rooms was lovely.
The beach was covered by algae. I could not fully enjoy the ocean.

I found the staff very friendly and passionate about their jobs, that's a plus! shout out to sharon at reception, ibrahim, monica, rukaiyah, rhoda, shukuru, and wilfred, i must say. i liked the facilities, especially the two pool options. They were very nice.
The all-inclusive package seemed misleading? only a few drinks were included. I felt the rest required extra payment. that detail was not specified before i arrived. It should be clarified. also, the common pools looked dirty. the water looked murky, we didn't like that, to be honest.

mixed feelings about this place
poor entertainmentpothole roads
I wasn't thrilled about a few things. The entertainment felt lacking, it needed a proper dj or even a live band. the food options also felt repetitive. I saw the same dishes every day. getting around wasn't easy either. Excursions required long drives on roads with lots of potholes
