The small window, and the dated furniture did not help much (I reminded me of I was in a time capsule). The TV was mounted too close to the bed. The remote didn't work well. The housekeeping was minimal. Toiletries weren't replaced, and the sink wasn't cleaned . It seemed like the room needed some TLC.

breakfast included sufficient options. i found it was easy enough to walk to town center as it was close. the staff gave good recommendations for places to eat. the building had a beautiful reception with original panel work.

the room i was allocated was very small, so moving around the room was difficult.

I found a couple of things a little disappointing. The breakfast selection felt quite limited. I wished there were more options beyond the standard English breakfast. the walk back from the beach was unexpectedly strenuous. It is a very steep hill!!!
