pleasant stay with lovely grounds

grand feellovely staffbeautiful grounds
I liked the grand feel upon arrival, it seemed like visiting downton abbey. the staff were lovely, and i enjoyed talking with one of the managers by the fireplace. breakfast included expected options. the grounds are beautiful. I imagine walking there in spring would be fantastic.
sadly, it seemed the service was slightly off one day, maybe a manager issue. sunday lunch was a buffet when it was supposed to be three courses and the same price. still, i enjoyed most aspects of my stay

Wonderful Stay at a Lovely Hotel

quick check-inspacious roomfine groundsdated bathroom
Check-in was quick and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. I found the leisure facilities very nice. The building itself is beautiful and the plentiful grounds are fine for a morning walk.
I found that the older bathrooms could use some updating. They feel a bit dated. A small thing, but it would elevate the experience.
Location

The hotel's setting offers a peaceful and scenic environment. It makes it ideal for a relaxing escape and is close to local attractions for convenient exploration. The ample parking space is a definite plus.
